Aboriginal Literacy Foundation
The Aboriginal Literacy Foundation seeks to transform the lives of Indigenous children by focusing on literacy and numeracy education. Working in collaboration with local communities and partners, ALF develops literacy skills with Indigenous children so that they can succeed in school and beyond.
ALF are currently seeking funding to send books and library equipment to be sent to 46 remote Indigenous Western Australian schools.
Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa
Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa (KJ) is a Martu organisation established in 2005 to support Martu to build strong, sustainable communities. Martu are very traditional Aboriginal people from the Western Deserts area in WA.
They are currently seeking funding for The Kanyirninpa Wangka Nantirrpa project, which will be delivered to ensure that important linguistic, cultural and ecological knowledge about Martu land, society and values remain alive and passed down to future generations.
Noongar Mia Mia
Noongar Mia Mia (NMM) helps Aboriginal people living on Noongar country by providing a range of public and social housing options for eligible applicants, creating pathways from homelessness to home ownership.
Operating via a unique, evidence-based and Elder-endorsed cultural model of supportive housing, taking a Noongar Housing First approach to housing, property management and individualised cultural tenancy support to help tenants to manage their tenancies, and to thrive in their homes, NMM is building the right foundations for people to thrive and forging solid pathways to a secure housing future.

Indigenous Plumbing and Sanitation Foundation
The IPSF has been established to provide relief for ATSI people in remote Indigenous communities who are living with poor sanitation, making them at risk of disease and sickness. Through funding, plumbing and sanitation services can be used to improve the wellbeing of these communities.

Shooting Stars
Shooting Stars, an initiative of Glass Jar Australia and Netball WA, uses netball and other rewards as tools to encourage Aboriginal girls in remote communities to have greater engagement and attendance at school. The program improves attendance rates, promotes girls’ health and drives social wellbeing for the Indigenous community.

Earbus Foundation
Earbus Foundation aims to reduce the incidence and impact of middle ear disease in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and at-risk children in Western Australia. They run mobile ear heath clinics to ensure ATSI children can succeed in school without the hinderance of the disease.

The Walyalup Kannajil Community Choir promote Aboriginal & Torres Strait language songs and compositions by Indigenous artists from around Australia. They create a safe environment for members to acknowledge and enjoy Aboriginal culture and communities.

McGovern Foundation - Wanderer Program
The McGovern Foundation has identified the need for a specifically targeted driver mentor program that increases the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth who obtain – and maintain – their driver’s licences.
The Wanderer Program will provide support and the necessary resources to those who otherwise would be unable to complete 50 hours of supervised driving.
