How Impact100 Works

Impact100 Fremantle is based on the international Impact100 collective giving model that exists to create stronger, more connected communities that transform lives around the world.

Established in 2013, Impact100 Fremantle is a group of Fremantle people, pooling their resources to make a lasting, positive impact on the well-being of the community. This year marks 10 years of Impact100 Fremantle, together we have collectively granted over $1,000,000 to support many local charitable organisations in the greater Fremantle area.

This philanthropic model is run as a special program under the broader Fremantle Foundation which manages, in addition to Impact100 Fremantle, a $2.5 million-dollar endowment for the community, on behalf of individual and family fund holders across Western Australia.

Our aim is for a community with a culture of giving.

Who is involved?

Our Impact100 Fremantle efforts bring together at least 100 community members, from all walks of life, who each donate $1,000 annually.  Their contributions are pooled to make high impact grants to locally based charities, organisations or projects.

$100,000 Raised for Charity.

Winning charities are collectively voted for by members at an annual Grant Awards Evening where a primary game-changing grant of $100,000 is made, empowering a local charity to dream bigger and have a greater impact.  Donations are fully tax-deductible with the full $100,000 reaching the winning charity.

Rewarding Giving Experience

In addition, we create a rewarding giving experience for donors by providing a rare insight into the community and the opportunity to share this valuable journey with a group of like-minded people.

Annually we host a range of special events including an annual launch, site visits to organisations who have applied for the grant, grant meetings for committee members and an annual Grant Announcement Evening.
