As a community foundation the focus of the Fremantle Foundation’s granting is to support local not-for-profit organisations, big and small, that are making a real difference in our community.

We are always looking for great projects that show strong leadership in the following seven key focus areas: Health & Wellbeing, Homelessness, Education, Environment, Family & Community, Indigenous Australians, Arts & Culture.

The Fremantle Foundation is uniquely placed to understand and respond to the immediate and long-term needs of the Fremantle and broader WA community. We work in partnership with donors, local organisations and the community to strengthen our local communities and increase opportunities.

We act as a conduit to funding, (particularly a pathway for philanthropic funding through Named Funds held with the Fremantle Foundation), connections to other forms of funding, access to networks and a partnership approach where we support grantees through strategic conversations, mentoring and professional development.
