Dismantle
Dismantle are a youth engagement organisation that inspires young people through bikes. In 2013 Dismantle received a grant of $100,000 for their Bike Rescue Project. As a new organisation the impact of the grant and the additional support through the Fremantle Foundation was transformational. The contributions made to Dismantle through the Fremantle Foundation included:
$100,000 to the Bike Rescue Project to contribute primarily to wages and project costs
Pro Bono business and strategic planning offered by a Fremantle Foundation donor
New business investment through a Fremantle Foundation donor
New Board member through a Fremantle Foundation donor
Public profiling and endorsement
Seven years on the ongoing impact of the Fremantle Foundation’s support can still be felt. Pat Ryan, CEO of Dismantle, recently sent this note through:
“I’m indebted and so grateful to you and the foundation... being that my job at Dismantle was activated because of the 2013 Impact100. So too are the 2000+ young people that have taken part in BikeRescue, the 50 young people that have been employed by us and the 18 staff members that work here.”
