MIDLAS
When the fires started MIDLAS self-funded a project to go into evacuation centres and pay for vulnerable people in the centres to stay in more appropriate accommodation.
MIDLAS then assisted them with food, clothes, toiletries, and had our free financial; counsellors assist them to apply for grants and aid. With funding from Fremantle Foundation , MIDLAS will be able to assist them through the last hurdle which is getting suitable insurance payouts to begin to rebuild and heal.
